The next AATOD National Conference will be convening on
October 20 - 24, 2007 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego , California . AATOD produces national conferences on an 18-month cycle. These conferences have been convening since 1984 and provide an opportunity to interested parties to learn about the most current evidence-based practices in our field. The conferences provide different learning opportunities which include comprehensive pre-conference training sessions (pharmacotherapy training courses - management seminars - patient advocacy training), workshop topics, poster and plenary sessions in addition to policy-making forums and banquet ceremonies.

The Goals and Objectives of the 2007 American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence, Inc. National Conference are:

• To identify and provide new information of critical importance to the field
• To examine and evaluate the implications of new information for clinicians, administrators
• To demonstrate techniques for improving clinical and program administration
