Carrie Perkins is the Program Director for Discovery House Washington County as well as the President for the Maine Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence. Carrie has been working in the Substance Abuse treatment field for 8 years starting as a Registered Alcohol & Drug Counselor. Carrie worked closely with local and state officials to bring a Methadone Maintenance program to Washington County, Maine. Additionally, her work with the Washington County Jail, has allowed patients currently in Methadone Maintenance to be medicated while incarcerated. Discovery House Washington County is now a fully licensed Co-Occurring Disorder facility. Carrie is married and the mother of 4 children.
