Conference Message from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services

Greetings Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, I enthusiastically encourage you to attend the upcoming 2018 AATOD Conference being held March 10-14 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

The 2018 AATOD conference brings together nationally and internationally recognized research, medical, clinical and policy experts to share their wisdom, latest innovations and vision in enhancing the prevention, treatment and recovery services for individuals with Opioid Use Disorder. Nationally, we are having important treatment and policy making discussions about expanding access to medication-assisted treatment and enhancing the quality of opioid addiction treatment and recovery services. This conference offers me, in my role as the New York State Opioid Treatment Authority, access to premier education and informs my ability in ensuring that quality treatment outcomes can be achieved!

The conference provides an excellent opportunity to meet with colleagues and friends that we often do not get a chance to see on a regular basis, as well as forge new relationships with others. It also gives us the opportunity to identify new developments for helping people along their path to recovery.

I hope you review the conference registration brochure and share this with all who would be interested in attending.

Please note that the deadline for standard registration is fast approaching. Make sure you register before the February 18 deadline!

Your presence at this conference is important to us, and we look forward to seeing you there.

Warm Regards,

Belinda Greenfield
