Dr. Folsom serves as the President of the Opioid Treatment Providers of Georgia and as a Board Member of the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence. Dr Folsom is the President /CEO of Valdosta Addiction Associates and Narquest Healthcare Services, a multi-site narcotic treatment organization with locations in Valdosta and Waycross, Georgia.

Dr. Folsom has 10 years experience in the medical field as well as more than four years of experience in the field of opioid addiction treatment. His background also includes community and public relations, business development, administration, budget development, as well as prevention and education programs. He is also an active member of the Georgia “Drugs Don’t Work” program.

Dr. Folsom obtained a B.S. degree in Applied Medical Sciences from Belize Medical College and Georgia Military College. He received his Medical Doctorate from Central America Health Sciences University – Belize Medical College. He is also a current member of NAADAC and the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association.

Dr. Folsom is also the Administrator of the Addiction Counselor Training Institute of Georgia providing quality addiction counselor training through the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association.
