Susan McKnight is the Program Coordinator of the Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs for Lake County Health Department in Waukegan, Illinois and is also an adjunct instructor at the College of Lake County.

With thirty years of behavioral health care experience, Ms. McKnight has served on several state boards. Ms. McKnight is the President of the Illinois Methadone Treatment Association and the Illinois delegate to the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence Board of Directors. She has extensive experience in program development, risk management and quality improvement.

Ms. McKnight received her Masters in Public Health degree from the
University of Illinois, School of Public Health and has completed a certificate program in Risk Management from The American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. She is a state certified substance abuse counselor.
