Sharon R. Dow, MS is currently a Senior Associate with The Bizzell Group and has 45 years of experience in policy development, technical assistance (TA), and direct provision of behavioral health services, and management of grants and contracts.Ms. Dow served as the SOTA and Policy Director for Maryland’s Behavioral Health Administration. Upon leaving state employment, she directed SAMHSA’s funded contracts, which focused on providing TA to States and accreditation readiness to OTPs. Her expertise allowed the Joint Commission to participate in SAMHSA’s policy initiative requiring accreditation of all OTPs. Ms Dow was given the Nyswander-Dole award in 1992.
