Stacey Pearce began working in the substance abuse treatment field in 1995. Mrs. Pearce was the Program Director of GPA Treatment, Inc., a methadone clinic, from 1998-2002 and was involved in the pilot project for all methadone clinics in the United States to become nationally accredited during her tenure at that facility. In March of 2002, Mrs. Pearce opened a methadone treatment facility in Macon,Georgia and remains the Program Director at that facility.
Mrs. Pearce earned her Bachelor degree in Public and Social Services from Kennesaw State University in 2000 and is a Certified Addiction Specialist.
Currently, Mrs. Pearce is on the Board of Directors for the Opioid Treatment Providers of Georgia (OTPG) and is a CARF surveyor. She strives to educate individuals about medication assisted treatment to assist in the de-stigmatization of this treatment modality for the patient population.
