This presentation illustrates implementation of disaster plans during and after Hurricane Florence, focusing on the collaborative roles of the SOTA, Opioid Treatment Programs and communities and how OTPs can provide quality services and ensure patients with Opioid Use Disorder maintain care. We discuss the active role that the SOTA plays in assisting Providers with planning, communication and partnerships, and discuss lessons learned from Hurricane Florence. We will show how engaging community resources is essential to regaining stability in the aftermath of a disaster.

• Upon completion, participants will be able to identify recommendations for disaster planning and recovery .
• Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the positive and collaborative role of the SOTA in responding to disasters
• Upon completion, participants will be able to identify strategies for Opioid Treatment Programs to plan and respond before, during and after a disaster, in order to ensure that patients with opioid use disorder maintain care.
