Attendance at conference events will be verified electronically. Each attendee seeking credits must have his/her conference badge scanned upon entering the meeting room by room monitors and remain for the entire duration of the session. If the attendee leaves the meeting room prior to the conclusion of the session (ex. bathroom break), the badge must be scanned when he/she leaves the room and scanned again when he/she returns for re-entry. No person will receive credit if he/she does not attend the entire session. These monitors will have electronic equipment that will automatically record each individual’s attendance in a database. The database will track and tabulate each attendee’s credits and after the conference, certificates documenting attendance and the number of credits earned will be electronically generated and emailed to all eligible attendees. Successful completion of session attendance will also require the submission of a course evaluation. Questions about continuing education credits can be answered by staff at the Conference Info Desk located in the registration area or contact meetings@aatod.org or 856-423-3091.
