Christine Atkin

Christine Atkin, MA (Program Analyst) joined Codac in 2014 at the advent of the innovative Rhode Island Health Homes program. As the lead Team Coordinator of Codac’s largest treatment facility, she was an integral part of the team that designed and implemented this “first of a kind” program in the U.S. to provide comprehensive care coordination and management for opioid treatment patients. Since 2018 she has led Codac’s project to develop and deliver telehealth based services that integrate key community health entities for the purpose of providing immediate access to care in response to the current opioid crisis. Prior to receiving her Masters in clinical counseling and joining Codac, Christine had a successful career in high technology. She was a Program Director for team and process development at Oracle America, and led program roll out teams at IBM Global Services and AT&T. This experience readily lends itself to the application of systems and telecommunications technologies that can accelerate and advance the provision of treatment for opioid patients.
