Corey Love, LMHC – the Intake Coordinator and Intern Coordinator at Greenwich House MMTP – is a clinician and an educator. He attended Hunter College – CUNY in NYC where he is now an active member of the Faculty. His professional experience includes research implementing therapeutic techniques in counseling LGBT+ individuals to combat substance use and HIV while incorporating concrete intake techniques that are inclusive of patients’ sexuality and gender expression. As a clinician he utilizes individualized Person-Centered therapeutic techniques in working with LGBT+ individuals and has developed a concrete system of intake procedures to begin to develop therapeutic alliance with clients that are imperative to positive client outcomes. He is the Chair of the LGBT+ Committee at Greenwich House MMTP and is the co-developer of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Internship Program.
