Gloria Baciewicz MD, Professor of Clinical Psychiatry, University of Rochester Medical Center, Medical Director, Strong Recovery: I graduated from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1978 and completed my residency in Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 1982. I have specialized in the treatment of addiction since 1986, and my work as Medical Director of Strong Recovery in the University of Rochester’s Department of Psychiatry has given me the opportunity to participate in education, administration, and clinical care. I am certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, and board-certified in Psychiatry with Added Qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry.
