Sara Lorenz Taki, MD is Medical Director of Greenwich House MMTP in New York City. Dr. Taki is board certified by the American Board of Preventative Medicine in Addiction Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Taki has over ten years experience in the treatment of substance use disorders and the medical complications of drug and alcohol use. Dr. Taki has worked in various settings, including large opioid treatment programs as well as private practice. Dr. Taki’s professional interests include treating hepatitis C in OTPs, improving care for LGBTQ patients with substance use disorders, developing educational opportunities for health professional students in the OTP setting, and care of the medically complex OTP patient.
